Check the heads bow in Vietnow
Hah! I suppose this post is late by a couple of days.
Ah well, I've been resting for the past few days. The last week has really put a strain on me.
Rehearsal sessions lasted till really late. Like 10.30pm? We had to fix the sound because it was giving us a little problems at first since nobody in the band really knows how to work a DI box. Hahaha.
I think when you're playing music it's kinda important to know how to tweak and set up your own live rig.
Well, you just have to KNOW how to work it, you don't really have to DO it.
Yes, that's what your tech is for. Lol.
Anyway the gig on Friday was pretty good. (In case you're wondering, the event was called Staffroom R(A) which was organsied by MGS ROCs and held at the MGS auditorium.) I'm sure a lot of people enjoyed themselves. (:
The MGS teachers are really nice though. The MGS people gave the band cushions as a gift. Haha. I thought it was pretty cute. They even offered to tutor me. Hah.
Mine was yellow, cause Hafiz took my red one. Lol. Emma one was also yellow i think. Calvin's one is green?
No idea.
Haha. Well, music aside, I ought to start revision for the 'O's.
Damn, in taking time to rest for the past few days, I feel like I wasted my time instead of putting it to good use.
Well at least I've studied something on Physics practical today.
Ah well, study study.
Oh yeah, they moderated our prelims grades. Muahaha.
I jumped 4 points.
9. :D
My sister and mum want me to apply for Temasek now for the first three months. Ah well, it's after the 'O's anyway, I'll have to reconsider then.
It's amazing how quick this year has passed. No shit, feels like yesterday when I just got to know everybody in 3A/4A.
And in a blink of an eye, here we are now - weeks away till the end of the 'O' Levels.
I'm still thinking of what to do with all the time I have afterwards. I mean, it's just amazing, really.
It's kinda like playing a video game, and you're so super engrossed in completing it.
And when you have completed the final level, what do you do afterwards?
Okay poor analogy, but you get the idea. You pretty much realise you have nothing to do then.
I think it's really worth to just go all out for it from here on.
Get the As for the 'O's man, I just can't stress how much there is to GAIN. Not to lose, but to gain.
It's a pretty facile task. Just work for your damn 'O's from now and stop playing video games or talking to your girlfriend.
I'm sure we can all do well. (:
All right, I'm off to watch the rest of the Manchester United-Liverpool match.
And then afterwards I shall study Geography Elective.
Take care everybody!
